Guru Purnima is know as the most auspicious day according to Indian Culture.
On this day one should seek the blessings of his Guruji. It is our duty to respect the Gurus.
A true Guru is true not only in words but in deeds. He does not show his knowledge, but his life is a display of his experiences.
The one whose place is believed to be higher than God and parents is Guruji. This day is celebrated in India for the importance and contribution of Gurujis in life.
When a disciple enters a Gurukul, he is first introduced to the teacher.
- गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु र्गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः
- गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्मा तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः
That is, Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu and Guru is Lord Shankar. Guru is the real Supreme Brahma.
After attaining enlightenment under the Buddha tree, he gave his first sermon on this day.
Without Guruji there is no knowledge, without knowledge, there is no soul. Meditation, knowledge, patience, and action are the Guru’s gifts.
The perfect Guruji is the one who reveals the God-like light within you. A guruji is a guide to reach God. Guruji is not God, he is an omnipotent being.
They help us to be a responsible and good person in life.
