Symptoms of lactose intolerance usually begin within a few hours of eating or drinking lactose-containing foods.

Stomach ache, Abdominal distension, rumbling in the intestines, gas, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea are a few of its symptoms which anybody usually faces.

There are 3 types of symptoms. 1.Primary lactose intolerance, 2: secondary lactose intolerance aur 3: congenital or developmental intolerance

Lactose, a disaccharide, is the sugar made up of galactose and glucose subunits.

If the body lacks the enzyme lactase, lactose cannot break down and milk is not digested.

Consumption of dairy products like milk, curd, cottage cheese etc. has to be completely abandoned. While all these elements are considered to be the best source of calcium.

Vitamin D is also found in eggs, liver and yogurt, and you can take vitamin D even by being in front of the sun.

Chia Seeds Chia seeds are also a great option to meet the deficiency of calcium.

Calcium-rich fruits like pineapple, banana, avocado, kiwi, and vegetables like broccoli, okra spinach also contain a good amount of calcium.

Be it soya flour, tofu, soy milk, soybean oil, or soya chunks and Almond milk or other nut milks can also be taken and dry fruits should be eaten.

You can take lactase tablets before eating or drinking products made from DH. You can also add lactase drops to milk before drinking it. Check with your doctor before using lactase products.
