Happy Dhanteras – Dhanteras means the day to multiply and increase your wealth thirteen times.

Apart from Lord Dhanvantari, Goddess Lakshmi, Ganesh. Kuber, the god of wealth, and Yamraj, the god of death, are also worshiped on this day.

Shri Lakshmi –

Light a lamp to start the puja and this lamp should be kept lit throughout the night.

In the evening, there must be some members in the house and the main door should be kept open.

women deserve respect every day. Women, girls, and eunuchs should never be insulted. Every woman is a form of a goddess.

Feeding jaggery or roti to cows brings blessings. Cows are considered to be an incarnation of Lakshmi.

Buying a broom on this day symbolizes that you are removing poverty from your home and now you will not have financial problems.

Shri Vishnu –
Lord Vishnu took many incarnations. Vishnu was born in the incarnation of Dhanvantari.

Lord Dhanvantari was carrying Amrit Kalash at the time of birth.

Buying metal on Dhanteras brings luck, wealth, and prosperity to the house.

Shri kubera –
worships Kubera. Lord Shiva had also given a boon to Kuber Dev that whoever worships Kuber Dev will be showered with wealth and splendor.

Worshiping them also has a lot of importance. Let us tell you that on this day Kuber Ji is considered the god of wealth and glory.

On this day, one should avoid doing any kind of transaction in the evening. Doing so weakens the economic condition.

Shri yamraj-
To get rid of premature death, one should do worship and lamp donation methodically on the day of Dhanteras.

After the worship of Yamraj on the day of Dhanteras, the tradition of lamp donation became prevalent.
